North Wall is a well-known surf break in Northern New South Wales, Australia, near the Clarence River mouth at Yamba. It’s a classic rock wall/point-style wave that can offer long, clean rides when the swell and sandbanks line up.

What it’s like

Wave type: A breaking wave peeling along a man-made rock wall
Best on: Southeast to east swell with light west/offshore winds
Wave quality: Can be very good when banks set up, with fast, punchy sections
