Black Head Point (Mid North Coast, NSW, Australia) is a scenic headland surf zone near the village of Black Head, north of Forster and south of Taree. It’s best known as a point/reef-style break rather than a soft beachie, with waves that can offer a longer, more organized line when conditions line up.

What it’s like

Best swell: Usually prefers a southeast to east swell
Wind: Cleanest with west to southwest winds offshore
